We are back -Fun with Dapper and X11

I have not been back here in a while....at present I am messing with
bringing up the lastest Edubuntu release at school....the flight 6 dapper drake release

It looks really great, super integration with our windows network.
So far though I cannot get AVI's to play.

Had a really great vacation visiting Dianne's Uncle Dick and Aunt Suzie in Fort Worth Texas.....

    Dianne's Texas Uncle & Aunt are Rocky's Texas Uncle & Aunt. He needs to accept shared blame/responsibility, no escape.

    Had to add a new monitor section in /etc/X11/xorg.conf and restart X with Ctrl+ALT+Backspace to gett the display right

    Why don't they have a menu with common system services start/stop/restart?
